Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will perform thorough inspections, process assessments, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders on quality issues. The candidate must have small parts, wiring, and electronics inspection experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections to meet specified standards, including work order completeness, first articles, in-process assembled products, final manufactured products, returned products, received components, and outsourced finished products.
Perform process assessments and identify improvements.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and audits related to quality and inspection, including first article inspection reports, non-conforming material reports, RMA reports, AS/ISO audits, and historical data documentation.
Communicate timely quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
Provide ongoing training to maintain proficiency in all manufacturing processes.
Assist with production activities as needed based on work volume.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing, preferably in inspection.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to accurately use inspection equipment including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers in both inch and metric units.
Strong ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate orally in English.
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations with fractions and decimals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to reason through problems and suggest workable solutions.
Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings, parts lists, BOMs, data lists, mechanical test reports, chemical analysis reports, and thermal and environmental conditioning reports.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with microscope work.
IPC 610 Certification.
IPC 620 Certification.
Experience with AS9100.
Experience working in an ISO environment.

Work Environment
This position operates on a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The work environment includes a cleanroom setting with potential exposure to temperature variations, chemical agents, and contact with liquids. The noise level can range from moderate to loud. Employees may be required to sit or stand for long periods, handle objects, bend, squat, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
