Job Summary:

The Execution Program Manager (PM), Associate Director will report to the Advanced Air Warfare Systems (AAWS) Senior Director in the Advanced Technologies SBU. The PM establishes processes for execution of important DoD contracts in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes establishing a program cadence and a process for taking corrective action to minimize cost and schedule risks. In addition, the PM is responsible for development, maintenance, and communication of schedule and financial artifacts and other metrics to demonstrate execution to include, but not limited to, EAC development, proposal leadership and development of executive briefing materials.

In this role you will be accountable to the AAWS Senior Director for overall success, security requirements, company and stakeholder program success, and on-time delivery of all program artifacts. Additionally, you will develop and maintain collaborative and responsive internal relationships with peers across the Advanced Technologies programs, and corresponding functional leads for the SSBU, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Contracts.

This role is Onsite located in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Establish and grow working relationships with the program stakeholders

  • Development of program execution processes such as monthly management reviews, risk and opportunity board, and critical chain

  • Responsible for overall program execution including cost, quality, and schedule performance

  • Set budgetary guidelines and direct the performance of program task elements by developing program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations

  • Responsible for overall compliance with contract requirements, Raytheon’s Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) such as Gate reviews and GEM tool, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures

  • Develop compliant Estimates at Completion (EACs) and communicate with stakeholder programs

  • Perform technical assessments and support other technology development teams as needed

  • Obtain and maintain additional program access as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Concentration in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Business is preferred.

  • Program Management or team leadership experience

  • Industry, government and or closely related business experience

  • Experience in weapon program development and integration

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance

  • Demonstrated experience articulating customer positions, program status, and execution strategies to senior customer and company management

  • Demonstrated success focusing on the needs of customers and delivering on those needs

  • Substantial Raytheon program execution experience

  • Ability to obtain PM Level 4 Certification or other relevant PM Certifications

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long term business relationships with internal program stakeholders and functional partners

  • Demonstrated success working in a teaming environment

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
