Community Health Systems General Maintenance Mechanic in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

This is a full time General Maintenance Mechanic position working at Northwest Medical Center.

This mechanic will work with the Director of Facilities, the Facility Manager and Plant Operations team to maintain the campus buildings and equipment. This mechanic will perform a variety of general maintenance and repairs in all hospital buildings. Tasks will include plumbing, HVAC, medical gases, electrical, fire alarm systems, nurse call, TV systems and more. This mechanic will also work on small projects and use the work order system to create and close work orders. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Work hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate. This position would also be part of the rotating on-call roster.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Experience: Required: Two (2) years building maintenance of structures.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Valid Arizona Driver's License

For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
