As a Project Engineer II, you will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Global Engineering Services and the Chief Engineering/Product Engineering organization. Responsibilities will include supporting Momentum Factory Support, DMAIC and Supplier support activities impacting the Honeywell Tucson, AZ location and the sister divisions supporting that facility.
In addition, you will have Class II Design Authority for the Engines Site for Phase 6 ECNs supporting ISC and will be leading the Engineering effort to release those ECNs as well as MRB authority. You will partner with world class engineer's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Class II Design Authority for Phase 6 ECNs (Dwg changes in a production support environment); Eng assessment for execution, ECN generation, Coordination with Engineering teams for resolution
Support customer package submission for approval (DCMA, DLA, Business customers)
Support Export control classification for Items impacting operations
Integration with ISC effort events for RCCA as well as agile projects to review proposed processing changes to ensure product integrity
Work closely within Engineering (GPES), Operations & Quality for Engineering action proper prioritization
Support MRB activity process identifying repetitive events for permanent action using root cause analysis & corrective action response
Work independently & effectively in a cross functional teams environment
Drives execution of Engineering actions & mitigates risk in a timely manner
Support Customer interface and vendor interface teams for item resolutions and approval (ECN’s, Technical data sharing for approval as well as technical clarification from vendors when required)
Metric development/reporting
Schedule and Milestone development/management
Project Performance metrics
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Minimum 3-4 years experience in engineering
