RTX Clearance Processing Center is seeking an experienced Clearance Processing Center’s Senior Security Data Analyst . This role will be reporting to the Associate Director of the RTX Clearance Processing Center. You will be responsible for scoping, developing, and implementing key reporting metrics dashboards to provide enterprise services with personnel security clearance information that is accurate and actionable. In addition to developing, maintaining, and supporting all internal Clearance Processing Center dashboards, you will also run critical compliance reports. You will also work with various members at each of our business and centers of excellent to execute the overall strategy for the Clearance Processing Center. You will have hands on experience with every role within the Clearance Processing Center providing support across the CPC. This will be an individual contributor role.

HYBRID: This position will be hybrid with the need for onsite meetings and business travel. Eligible candidates must have the ability and be willing to work on site – this role requires frequent on-site interaction.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure adherence to all federal government regulations in addition to the NISPOM.

  • Fully develop and deliver automated dashboards and reports through our data warehouses and visualization (Tableau)

  • Utilize advanced statistical methods and data visualization techniques to derive actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Communicate and deliver business analytics improvement initiatives and processes to leadership.

  • Familiarize with the data to come up with issues & risks before the business sees them.

  • Strong customer service focus on ensuring the business has the information they required for data-driven solutions to complex problems.

  • Self-starter and personal ownership over Consolidated Clearance Processing Metrics and Key Performance Indicators

  • Develop, prepare, and implement local procedures for the Clearance Processing Center.

  • Support the following personnel security clearance transaction: initial requests, transfers, conversions, upgrades/downgrades, and SF86 updates.

  • Utilize the relevant personnel security systems (DISS, NBIS, eAPP, Access Commander, SIMs, Global Security Services Request System, eSecurity) as required to support all personnel security clearance transactions.

  • Review relevant documents for completeness and accuracy. Collect, track, analyze, and report investigation status on a frequent basis.

  • Utilize the Clearance Processing Center case management system, ServiceNow, to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Respond to customer inquiries (email, phone calls, etc.), maintain applicant information and investigation history in multiple databases.

  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, emergency room type of work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

  • Approximately 10% travel domestically

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.

  • 2+ years of documented experience in working in PERSEC, with the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and JSIG.

  • 2+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python libraries or similar software.

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office- SharePoint, Excel, Word, and exceptional PowerPoint skills.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Existing Secret clearance with current enrollment in Continuous Vetting.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proven customer service, teamwork, and process improvement skills. Ability to solve problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills along with the ability to interact with a variety of customers, partners, vendors, management, interact with executives across the enterprise, and employees at all levels in the company.

  • Accurate and complete documentation skills utilizing case management systems and Microsoft products. Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy and integrity along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of defense industry security clearance trends and metrics. Working knowledge and experience with all the personnel security vetting government databases and systems. Familiar with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency personnel security and suitability reports.

  • Certified Tableau Data Analyst and Certified Tableau Server Associate

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools. Experience using SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and transformation.

  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Experience with data cleaning, data wrangling, and data preprocessing techniques.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
