Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Tukwila, Washington
Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the chocolate industry based in Tukwila, Washington. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. In addition, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Apply payments using various revenue streams
• Manage billing and issue credit notes as needed
• Oversee collections for business to business transactions
• Print packing slips and supervise this process
• Obtain resell certificates from customers
• Communicate primarily through MS Teams
• Use software such as SysPro and Excel for various tasks
• Handle account reconciliation and cash collections. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Billing and Cash Applications
• Experience with Cash Collections and Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Prior experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and SYSPRO is highly desirable
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Relevant certification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
