The Business Development Senior Manager is primarily responsible for driving planning and analysis for market development and fill-in expansion; for developing strategic relationships and assets that provide incremental market opportunities; create additional opportunities for sales channels for within Data Centers. Responsibilities: Develop, deploy and monitor success based forecast metrics for analyzing new initiatives Implement successful strategies to drive revenue in existing Data Centers Target, identify and develop strategic revenue-producing partnerships and alliances Evaluate and support business development opportunities identified by GEMS/Cellular/Carrier/Enterprise/Indirect/Business Development Develop market analysis and business case to support growth opportunities Provide leadership and planning for growing revenue within Data Centers Conduct business development research in support of specific opportunities Identify key functional costs, design, and specifications based on opportunity analysis Drive route optimization sales strategy, approval, and implementation Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Business Solutions, Product Development, Construction Project Management and Marketing Drive, document, and implement process development and changes for Data Center ecosystems resulting in an exceptional customer experience Develop and present on business plans and market analysis Analyze the performance of new initiatives and market place expansions across the org to verify performance based expectations Strategic Assets Identify and evaluate asset opportunities for conduit, fiber, and other assets, market expansion, and strategic opportunities. Drive technical and engineering evaluations and planning in support of asset opportunities Negotiate and drive deal execution for asset opportunities Required Qualifications: 10 years' experience in sales and/or business development within the telecommunications industry. Demonstrated expertise in leading successful sales and/or market development organizations in technology businesses. Proven ability to coordinate across broad teams including marketing, operations, sales, and finance Proven ability to conduct complex contract negotiations Proven results in developing a channel and exceeding sales organizational objectives. Understanding of fiber optic data and telecommunications solutions in CLEC business. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build and establish effective relationships. Exceptional customer service skills. Effective problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office; CRM preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
