Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician! With over 25 years of experience, we are a leading manufacturer of low-density film and protective flexible packaging, serving the Western United States and Canada. We pride ourselves on providing 100% custom engineered solutions with a diverse set of production capabilities. Our company is fast-paced and growing, offering medical insurance, 401K, paid vacation, and other compensations. As a Maintenance Technician, your role will encompass troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions on all types of factory machinery, developing maintenance procedures, and performing regular preventative maintenance. Ability to work overtime based on business requirements is a must. Shift options include day (7-3:30), swing (3:30-11), and night (10:30-6).
Hard Skills
Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions on factory machinery
Installation, adjustment, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling machinery components
Reviewing and interpreting work orders, technical manuals, and machine operations
Developing maintenance procedures
Using a computer to track and document equipment problems
Performing regular preventative maintenance
Soft Skills
Ability to communicate with production employees and management
Willing to work overtime based on business requirements
Excellent attendance
Positive attitude

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Tukwila, Washington.
Work Environment
This role requires physical and mental capabilities including working at heights up to 70 feet, lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, and frequent stooping, bending, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, crouching, walking, and lifting. Other requirements include wearing safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes, following all plant safety rules/policies, and adhering to all SQF and HACCP requirements. The work environment includes 13 extrusion lines.
