Description
Accountemps is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Construction/Contractor field. The Accounting Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part International Construction Company. Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term temporary position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk matches and batches code, resolves A/P issues, processes expense reports, updates and reconciles sub-ledger to G/L, and processes checks.
How you will make an impact
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Provide support to internal business partners
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Execute full-cycle A/P
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
