Honeywell Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma

As a Senior Advance Static Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for equipment requisition and pressure vessel design using Compress software. You will utilize your expertise in ASME Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 codes to ensure compliance and safety in the design process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment requisitions and specifications.
• Perform pressure vessel design calculations using Compress software.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 codes.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Experience in equipment requisition and pressure vessel design.
Proficiency in using Compress software.
Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div 1 and Div 2 codes.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in the energy or oil and gas industry.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with products like boilers, thermal oxidizers, flares, pressure vessel, heat exchangers.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practice.
Familiarity with other structural analysis software.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
