Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute clinics are MAGNET-certified, dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke’s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.
What you can expect from this role
Full-time (0.9 FTE): day shift
Schedule: M-F, day/shift based on needs of clinic
No nights, weekends or St. Luke’s observed holidays
Certification pay (ex. OCN)

ThePrimary RNprovides medical guidance and patient education while providing excellent care as an interprofessional team
Work closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines
Responsible for evaluating patients and assisting the physician with patient care, chemotherapy management, procedures, care coordination and in basket management
Cross train to triage
Travel expectations to our Wood River oncology clinic rotating with other staff, estimate up to 1 day every other week (travel as a team)
Minimum qualifications for this role
Education: Nursing Degree
Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
