IRONWOOD PLASTICS, INC Production Team Leader in TWO RIVERS, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lead by example and perform in a manner that ensures high morale and high performance. Inspire other employees to support company vision, mission, strategies (main things), goals and guiding principles. Responsible for the development of all personal under their direct report. Communicates effectively to all departments. Ensure 5S goals for all areas are maintained. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. All Quality Systems procedures and work instructions are consistently followed. Must be able to work weekends as needed to support customer requirements. Assists in long term scheduling and participates in daily schedule change decisions. Manage all labor resources including support personnel to optimize equipment and production efficiency. Provide guidance, counsel, and direction to direct reports, documentation done accurately and on time (ADP timecards, performance and behavior issues). Lead the team in trouble shooting activities (SWAT) engages proper support staff when necessary to help resolve issues. Communicate to the Production Manager as appropriate. If issues are unresolved communicate problems to oncoming Production Team Leader and proper support staff. Ensure adherence to Job Book and Customer requirements by all Ironwood Plastics team members. Monitor DMR area and ensure product has a disposition and is removed from DMR as soon as possible. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to six years leadership or plastics related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Able to use Microsoft products (MSWord, PowerPoint, Excel) .
