As a Quality Analyst Advisor you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Quality Analyst Advisor joining our team to leverage the power of data, analytics, master metadata, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data to generate insight and inform decision-makers. The ideal candidate will acquire, control, and catalog large datasets for our customer’s mission. The Data Quality Manager will thoroughly analyze the customer’s dataset catalog to identify areas of weakness which, in turn, will drive additional targeted dataset acquisition technologies (as appropriate). A successful candidate will be a highly detail-oriented individual who understands the complexities of data movement and curation; work well alongside various technical team members; and have applied experience working in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment with shifting priorities and requirements under minimal supervision.

HOW A QUALITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.

  • Develops and conducts related tests

  • Collaborate with fellow team members on data collection methods, data management processes/capabilities, and data policy/governance implementation

  • Respond to data calls, reporting tasks, special projects, and internal/external requirements taskings

  • Troubleshoots data-related problems as appropriate to the data management lifecycle

  • Documents procedures for data management processes

  • Develops methodologies for data collection and evaluation relevant to each project

  • Provide compliance metrics to oversight offices such as the Office of General Counsel (OGC) and the Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties (OPCL)

  • Provide and support new requirements to enable the development of system-driven data compliance and compliance reporting capabilities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

  • Possess at least eight (8) years intelligence analysis or data management professional experience, three (3) of which in a management/leadership position

  • Strong analytical skills to support data quality management operations

  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on minute details

  • Strong coordination, project planning, implementation, and prioritization skills

  • Adept at managing expectations and balance demands while maintain team priorities

  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with technical and non-technical personnel, as well as various levels of management and staff

  • Experience developing technical and/or program documentation

  • Ability to discern requirements from customer and technical exchange meetings

  • Proven ability to be a self-starter, ability to multi-task, and work independently on tasks while collaborating with a team (as necessary)

  • Must be willing and able to travel to international locations based on potential mission and customer’s needs

  • Focused experience in a specific area of data management to include cataloging, meta management, data policy, or data governance is acceptable

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience implementing and establishing data ownership, stewardship, and monitoring, as well as determining the applicability of data business rules

  • Develop and implement data management metrics used to generate reports and other outputs of data-related applications

  • Ability to render metrics into dashboards or other tools for vast accessibility

  • Skilled with utilizing business analytics to enable organizational learning and data-driving decisions
