This job classification | | requires a journeyman level of skill and training in the maintenance | | and repair functions as assigned. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Essential Job Functions | | | | | | | | 1. Promotes safety awareness, educates, and enforces all safety | | rules throughout the facility with the goal set at zero facility | | related injuries. | | 2. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly safety checks to | | ensure that safety related items are functioning properly, light | | curtains, sensors, switches, etc. | | 3. Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on all facility | | equipment as scheduled and assigned, including ½ pound to | | 30-pound blow molding machines, conveyers, grinders, etc. | | 4. Perform skilled electrical assignments. As well as performing | | plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic assignments as needed. | | 5. Calibrate all machine head and extruder temperature controllers | | which run all heater bands of the machines. | | 6. Search for and make any necessary repairs on all facility | | equipment, including ½ pound to 30-pound blow molding machines, | | conveyers, grinders, etc. | | 7. Perform major repairs to and monitors services to motors, | | compressors, heaters, blowers, and pumps. | | 8. Install, set up, and integrate new machinery and equipment such | | as material handling systems, PLC control units, etc. | | 9. Works from and interprets blueprints as they apply to assigned | | projects; reviews their specifications with the Plant and | | Maintenance Manager. | | 10. Serve as an electrician in repairing electrical malfunctions and | | installing new equipment. | | 11. Support the production, engineering and R & D departments. | | 12. Complete all necessary paperwork and computer data. Maintains | | records of tasks completed. | | 13. Keep work area neat, clean and organized per the 6s standards | | required at all times. | | 14. Work on Continuous Improvement activities and Kaizen events as | | assigned. | | 15. Follow all IATF and EMS policies and procedures. | | 16. Attend any onsite/offsite training courses as scheduled and | | provided. | | | | | | | | *Job | | Requirements | | * | | | | | | | | - High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent | | - Knowledge of electrical (480VAC, 230VAC, 115VAC, and 24VDC) | | - Electrical schematic and wiring certificate of Training | | - Commercial/Industrial Electrical Experience- 4+ Years | | | | | | | | | |
