Why this job matters:
As a Project Management Professional you will be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of various projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. You’ll be directly engaging with customers and as such have a key role in shaping customer experience through both project outcomes and personal behaviours. As part of a professional community of Project and Programme Managers you will be expected to have a good knowledge of project management methods / tools and conform with governance / standards.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, PID, RAID log etc.
Support the identification and mitigation of project risks and assist in problem-solving to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.
Accountable for complex budget management up to £1 million, tracking expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project deliverables.
Accountable for supporting and conforming with agreed governance structures (i.e. attending project checkpoints, providing regular schedule updates etc.)
