Why this job matters:

As a Project Management Professional you will be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of various projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. You’ll be directly engaging with customers and as such have a key role in shaping customer experience through both project outcomes and personal behaviours. As part of a professional community of Project and Programme Managers you will be expected to have a good knowledge of project management methods / tools and conform with governance / standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, PID, RAID log etc.

  • Support the identification and mitigation of project risks and assist in problem-solving to ensure project success.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.

  • Accountable for complex budget management up to £1 million, tracking expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project deliverables.

  • Accountable for supporting and conforming with agreed governance structures (i.e. attending project checkpoints, providing regular schedule updates etc.)

Flexible Working

This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
