Our client located in Englewood; NJ is seeking a CNC Machinist & Programmer to join their team. The CNC Machinist & Programmer will help manufacture pumps for locomotives, steamships, and Defense industries. The CNC Machinist & Programmer will have extensive experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machines. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION FOR THIS POSITION.This is a Temp to Perm opportunity with company benefits.CNC Machinist & Programmer Responsibilities-Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machines, producing parts to tight tolerances and quality standards-Review CAM programs, accurately programming CNC and Manual machines-Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to determine machining requirements-Select and mount appropriate fixtures, attachments, speeds, cutting style, and tools for optimal machining performance-Utilize precision tools and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, drills, grinders, squares, and shaft alignment-Conduct in process and final inspections, making necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards-Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtimeCNC Machinist & Programmer RequirementsAt least 2 years' experience as a CNC Machinist & ProgrammerExperienced setting up and operating CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machinesProficient with CNC Programming such as Okuma IGF, Mazatrol, or HeidenhainAbility to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning & TolerancingComplete Background Check and Drug ExamSchedule: Monday - FridayHours: 6am - 2:30pm (Overtime availability)Pay: $30 - $40 depending on experienceFor immediate consideration, please send your resume to karen.llano@expresspros.com
