The Water Resources Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Secretary Senior position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

In this position, you will provide administrative, organizational, and communication support to technical and management staff. You will assist the Operations Unit as the Water Resources Program transitions to a hybrid work environment with a paperless filing system. Proofreading and collaborating closely with permit writers to ensure quality control of water right decision documents are other key responsibilities of this role. You will gain valuable experience in Agency public disclosure procedures, as well as Water Rights file processing. This is a fast-paced, high-demand position that is challenging and rewarding.

Program Mission: The mission of the Water Resources program is to manage water resources to meet the needs of people and the natural environment, in partnership with Washington's communities.

*Schedule: *Initially, this position is required to work in the office five days a week. After six months and successful completion of training, the position may then be eligible for a hybrid schedule with one day of telework per week.
