Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Corporate Finance & Accounting, will be part of the Corporate Close & Consolidation team. This highly visible role will be a key contributor in delivering Comcast-driven initiatives impacting the overall Company’s global consolidation and reporting process. For successful implementation, the individual will work closely with leadership from Comcast Corporate, cross-divisional NBCU Finance stakeholders, and Technology. Effective project management will include proper alignment of expectations and execution, collaborating with all parties involved. The position will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Comcast Corporate Controllership pertaining to Company-wide initiatives requiring modifications to existing consolidation and reporting processes.
Lead project management: communicate and align each party’s expectations and monitor progress to help ensure a timely and effective implementation.
Document existing processes and explore opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Solicit feedback from impacted stakeholders; analyze solutions to identified challenges and risks.
Partner with SAP Business Solutioning & Controls and Technology to ensure that the implementation of Comcast initiatives properly support the final data submission process.
Communicate new requirements to overall NBCU Finance community as necessary.
Coordinate with SAP S/4 HANA transformation team on behalf of Global Close & Consolidation; assess and determine impact on current processes and the means to accommodate Comcast requirements.
Champion the business continuity efforts for Global Close & Consolidation; support the overall team’s cross-training program.
Obtain understanding of the monthly close & consolidation processes for Global Close & Consolidation and provide backup support as required.
Provide strong partnership with team members in LA, London, and Madrid.
Contribute to other special projects as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
6+ years of progressive accounting-related experience.
Public accounting experience preferred.
Entertainment industry experience preferred, not required.
Project management experience preferred.
CPA preferred.
Exceptional Excel skills.
Knowledge of SAP / AOE preferred.

HYBRID: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000 (bonus eligible).
