JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Center for Global Engineering Engagement (GEE) is seeking two undergraduate student workers to support our office operations throughout the spring 2025 semester. The student workers will serve as a friendly, professional presence at the front desk, welcoming visitors and assisting with inquiries. In addition to reception duties, the position will involve working on special projects, which may include marketing support, event coordination, and administrative tasks as needed.
Job Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, faculty, staff, and students in person and via email Provide administrative support for GEE staff, including data entry and knowledge management Assist with event logistics, including preparation and on-site support Help with marketing initiatives, such as creating materials or social media content Perform general office tasks
Qualifications: Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor Organized, dependable, and able to handle multiple tasks Interest in study abroad and/or intercultural learning preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be available to work 10-20 hours per week between 9 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Wednesday
