Northrop Grumman’s Corporate enterprise platform organization is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Software Developer to support the strategy and capabilities of our Next Gen ServiceNow Technology team.
In this position, you will become part of a team of experts supporting our ServiceNow platform that is delivering intuitive, consumer-centric, industry leading, and secure solutions. You will build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as Java, compile technical documentation, and analyze system capabilities to identify output requirements, data import requirements and programming techniques. You will need to be a self-starter who can work in an agile environment focused on innovative service delivery. Your excellent technical, communication, and collaboration skills will be utilized as you work with passionate, motivated individuals across the enterprise.
This is a remote/virtual position.
Responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions in support of enterprise initiatives
Modifying maintaining, and modernizing existing ServiceNow solutions
Demonstrating proficiency with workflow automation, User Interface (UI) policies, data polices, actions, business rules and client scripts
Mentoring, training, and demonstrating to other professionals, as required
Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Using various communication channels and software to interact with virtual customers and development teams
Creating technical documentation of software changes
Performing emergency on-call duties
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
Proficient in the development of technical solutions such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
Understanding of SQL database connections, object structures and queries
Ability to research new technologies for solution creation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities
Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills
Strong collaboration and team dynamics
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance, if necessary.
Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years experience working with various modules within ServiceNow
Demonstrated experience with web technologies and design
Service Portal Catalog Experience or certification
Understanding of general networking principles
Experience with Agile methodology

Salary range $65,500 - $98,300
