Kuehne+Nagel Quality Inspector - 1st Shift in Urbana, Ohio

Your Role
In this role, you will determine the methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. Reporting to a manager, you will typically work Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.
Your Responsibilities
Read and understand documents and processes and apply them to manufacturing and inspection
Read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Conduct department audits, ensure current documentation is in use and certification (calibration) of all tooling and test equipment is current
Use a variety of instruments such as bore gauge, air gauge, profilometer, micrometer, caliper, and comparator
Create inspection reports and corrective action requests
Demonstrate active commitment to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) standards
Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
Work overtime and weekends
Other responsibilities as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of warehouse experience
At least 1 year of recent quality and inspection experience
Experience handling simultaneous tasks
Understanding of quality systems requirements such as AS9120 and ISO 9001
Must be a U.S. citizen to work at this location
