As an influential member of the marketing team, the marketing communications specialist will assist in planning and executing the company’s external social media strategy in partnership with marketing team members and across Greenway departments. This communications professional will significantly contribute to the external facing communication of the company brand and positioning in the market. While this position primarily focuses on social media content, communication, and analytics, we encourage collaboration among the entire marketing organization to provide the opportunity to impact the entire marketing funnel. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Marketing Communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and managing Greenway’s social media marketing strategy.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to share Greenway company news on social media channels.

  • Own and manage Greenway’s social content and strategy while integrating of the company’s marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives, and messaging.

  • Partner to drive Greenway’s digital content strategy in alignment with the product marketing and demand generation teams

  • Coordinate with demand generation team and product marketing team to ensure consistent and effective customer communications and brand strategy

  • Obtain necessary consent and provide final approval on all marketing communications

  • Adhere to Greenway’s global communications policy to ensure consistent messaging, transparent communications, and strong brand representation

  • Analyze and refine the social media strategy to consistently improve online engagement and enhance the reputation of Greenway.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Up to two (2) years of social media marketing, content, brand, media and public relations and/or communications experience in a corporate environment preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to create and implement a highly engaging social media content and communications strategy

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Proven ability to collaborate with, flex to, and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities

  • High emotional intelligence

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with executive leadership

  • Results-oriented and data-driven

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Proficiency in Canva, Sprout, Adobe Creative Suite preferred

  • Healthcare or software experience a plus

  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 25%)

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday

  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday

  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/or mobile devices

  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates

  • Travel may be required (less than 25%)
