Generac Power Systems Inside Sales Representative (ISR) in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Generac Power Systems is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to market PWRcell, our leading solar-plus-storage solution. The successful applicant will utilize a consultative sales approach to assist our Generac Clean Energy installer and distributor network to drive customer proposal activity. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in achieving our ambitious customer engagement and revenue growth objectives, while helping transition our society to a renewable energy future.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate product awareness, value propositions, promotions and other order-generating messages to Generac installation and distribution partners. No cold calling!

• Actively manage relationships with a significant number of installer accounts within a given territory

• Qualify, prioritize, and respond effectively to inbound calls and online inquiries.

• Make effective outbound sales calls to solar professionals and electrical contractors who are part of the Generac Certified Installer network.

• Provide pre-installation technical support by answering questions focused on PWRcell system sizing, design, and installation including the following:

o Be able to interpret and provide guidance on technical documentation including electrical single line diagrams

o Be able to provide guidance on electric utility interconnection agreements

o Provide guidance on PWRcell system sizing including electrical load calculations, energy storage calculations, and PV system sizing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year BA or BS degree

• 2 years of relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Demonstrated Salesforce.com, SAP, or other CRM experience

• Technical/technical sales background

• Enthusiastic, positive, well spoken

• Excellent phone and written communication

• Computer skills to present data and draw diagrams

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
