Position Summary

Utica University is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach on ground in all disciplines to support programmatic and enrollment growth. There is an immediate need to hire for the Fall 2023 semester for the Psychology Child-LifeDepartment.

Major Responsibilities

Adjunct Lecturer of Psychology Child Life: To teach PCL 323- Early Intervention and PCL 423: Childhood Disorders.

PCL 323: Early Intervention: Theoretical, applied, and empirical issues focusing on the delivery of early intervention initiatives. Contexts and settings in which early intervention takes place and empirical literature on the effectiveness of early intervention.

PCL 423 – Childhood Disorders

Developmental-ecological approach to developmental psychopathology, including origins of developmental disorders, developmental pathways, risks and protective factors, and interventions.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree or higher required.

  • College Teaching Experience is preferred.

  • Relevant professional experience preferred
