CONMED Corporation Maintenance Mechanic I - 2nd Shift in Utica, New York

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of production and facility machines and equipment. This position also ensures that departmental requirements are fulfilled including safety compliance, compliance to internal procedures and compliance to regulatory standards. This is an onsite position in Utica, NY with the 2nd shift hours of 3:00-11:30 pm Monday-Friday.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use the appropriate measurement gages and tools to evaluate, measure, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Use software including an electronic Preventive Maintenance system, e-mail and the internet to track & cross-reference PM requirements, communicate, order supplies and gain access to manuals, procedures or specifications.
  • Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to help diagnose machine malfunction.
  • Ensure tools and equipment used to maintain company machinery or build product are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Ensure all tools are stored in an orderly fashion and are available to perform required PM's on equipment.
  • Maintain facility and grounds as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or additional Vocational training
  • Automation experience

This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $15/hour-$22/hour. The hourly pay rate is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
