Another Hybrid Job - work from home 2 days a week. Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with another Utica client of his on another Senior Financial Analyst role. This one is also a newly created role due to growth.

This role involves critical financial planning, analysis, and decision support, providing insights that drive business performance and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate, and support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.

• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, identifying trends and explaining causes of variances.

• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.

• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.

• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and investments, providing detailed financial and risk assessments.

• Assist in due diligence and financial modeling for mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
