F E Hale Manufacturing Co. Sticking Operation in Utica, New York
NY1496876 Sticking Operation. Part time, entry-level position with F.E. Hale Manufacturing in Utica, NY. Pay: $16.00-$18.00/hour.
DUTIES include, but not limited to those listed below: Matches materials for color, grain, or texture. Sets up and operates woodworking machines, such as power radial and table saws, to cut and shape parts from woodstock. Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files. Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine. Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing. May be required to repair veneer panels, stile and rail panels or laminated work surfaces.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18. High School diploma or the equivalent preferred.
