Position Title: Fabricator II, Marble and Grantie
Pay Range: $26- $33/hr
Sign-on Bonus: $750.00

POSITION PURPOSE
Fabricator II lays out, cuts and tools a variety of materials, including but not limited to marble and granite slabs according to project specifications in preparation for installation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITES
Work with the Shop Manager to read work orders to determine production and project specifications.
Examine materials, ingredients, and products visually or with hands in order to ensure conformance to established standards.
Lay out and cut out sinks and tubs to specification.
Select appropriate tools and sequence of tools for shaping and edging according to project specifications
Hone, polish, and grind material to specification
Shape, trim or touchup roughed-out designs with appropriate tools to finish carvings.
Ensure surfaces are smooth and finished to specification
Modify mixing, grouting, grinding, or cleaning procedures according to type of installation or material used.
Wash polished surface and apply sealer and/or curing agent when appropriate and to specification.
Inspect and handle slabs to ensure quality is maintained throughout the fabrication and transportation of material.
Assists field installations and deliveries as needed.
Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of constructions or Marble & Granite experience
Strong knowledge of all slab materials
