Your Responsibilities
As an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for John Deere Seeding-Valley City located in Valley City, ND , you will lead projects of varying scope related to change management, capital equipment acquisitions, layout changes or product updates.
Establish assembly methods, define work center layouts, procure tooling
Define and investigate problems, gather, and analyze data, propose and implement solutions
Lead the analysis, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology aligned to the Smart Connected Factory strategy

What Skills You Need
2 or more years shop floor manufacturing engineering related work experience
2 or more years' experience in the use and application of Root Cause Analysis
1 or more years working knowledge with the following software programs: Creo, SAP, JDAAT, MPP
1 or more years' experience with Bill of Materials structure, build papers and ECM process execution
1 or more years project management experience with complex projects
1 or more years working with capital budgeting and capital equipment acquisition
1 or more years ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and able to communicate cross-functionally with both salary and wage workforce
What Makes You Stand Out
Working knowledge of Industrial Engineering basics and MPPlanner Software
Experience with line design and work center layout
Experience developing and deploying shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, Labor standards and Operator Method Sheets)
Experience learning and applying technology, systems, data mining and analysis tools to drive business improvements
Understanding of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline
