The Job:
As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be part of our Valley City, OH team working as an Onsite employee on the second shift. he Technician-Mechanical will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of products. The Technician-Mechanical is required to maintain a safe work area, obey safety rules and ensure safety decals are properly displayed. This position must demonstrate excellent customer service skills by conducting daily activities and interacting in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner. Some essential duties include:
Provide quality product repair and services
Basic understanding needed of outdoor power equipment and small engines which includes operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment
Expertise needed to clearly document, communicate and describe all repairs that are done
Ability to follow engineering drawings to make repairs and update parts. This includes following torque specifications, installation instructions and part stack ups

HS diploma or equivalent
Minimum three to five years experience of outdoor power equipment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to clearly explain potentially complex subject matter to other technicians and with other departments
Basic mechanical knowledge and abilities
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Basic understanding of 12v systems, the ability to follow wiring diagrams, and good diagnostic skills needed for troubleshooting engines and electrical issues
Welding and light fabrication experience is a plus
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Personal tools needed for this position
Valid Drivers License
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
