Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Valparaiso, Indiana

-Looking for qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician's to perform preventative maintenance (PMs), troubleshooting, and repair to automated production machinery and equipment

-Inspect, repair, or replace mechanical components including belts, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, shafts, and gearboxes

-Hydraulic and pneumatic repairs/rebuilds

-Perform welding (MIG) and basic cutting and fabrication using torch/plasma cutter, saws, and grinders

-Read from blueprints and electrical diagrams

-Basic knowledge and understanding of PLCs (inputs/outputs troubleshooting)

-Order parts and receive work orders through CMMS

-Electrical knowledge up to 480V 3 Phase with 24V Circuitry as well (able to use a meter to determine if a motor is bad)

-General building maintenance as needed

-2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm and 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am open, must be available for OT and weekends

-Direct Hire with the company
