• Construct wooden and/or metal forms.
• Dig the concrete footers.
• Check the forms that hold the concrete to ensure that they are properly constructed.
• Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them, as necessary.
• Assist in pouring the concrete where needed.
• Finish concrete as needed.
• Cut and remove concrete when existing concrete needs to be replaced.
• Remove the forms that hold the concrete, when necessary.
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using a rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
• Tie and cut rebar to complete work assignments.
• Drive posts
• Climb structures
• Install/Remove signs
• Install/Remove sign structures
• Install/Remove guardrail and cable rail
• Installing delineators
• Patch broken barrier wall as needed
• Clean up the job site at the end of a project or at the end of the day.
• Haul off debris from the job site to desired locations.
• Drive company trucks as needed.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary when performing work duties.
• Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.
• Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
