Job Description
Danfoss in Van Wert, OH is currently looking for a 1st Shift Team Coordinator CNC Machining. The Team Coordinator is a production employee that takes a leadership role within CNC Machining operations. This role will instruct Operators on job tasks, complete tracking metrics, update KPI's, report causes for deviations and will participate in problem solving activities. The Team Coordinator CNC will progressively lead andsupport their team’s production in all areas.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Audit colleagues on the line, drive 5S in the area
Conduct daily shift meetings
Communicate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to another
Responsible for coaching colleagues on applications of standards and to increase skills
Responsible for training new employees
Tracking metrics and updating KPI’s
Identify weaknesses in operational processes and participate in continuous improvement activities (RCPS, 4-steps, 8D’s as well as kaizen/continuous improvement events)

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Assembly experience required
Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Understands and can explain the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Machining
