Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager with scheduling tasks.
Attend and participate in client meetings.
Write and manage purchase orders.
Procure necessary materials for projects.
Engage in a small amount of design work as needed.
Essential Skills
Experience in project management (coursework, internship or job experience)
Mechanical Engineering degree with exposure (experience, internship, etc) in a Manufacturing, Construction or Industrial setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
AutoCAD experience would be beneficial but is not required.
Familiarity with PLC/Controls would be advantageous.
Construction Management degree could be considered
Work Environment
The position is based in a loud indoor manufacturing site. Weekend work is expected. If both weekend days are worked, employees are typically allowed to take a couple of days off during the week. The role offers a clear growth path, starting with assisting the Project Manager on projects and gradually taking on more responsibilities to eventually manage projects independently and be promoted to a Project Manager position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
