Cornell Pump Company is a prominent leader in the centrifugal pump industry with over 75 years of experience and continuous growth. Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining. We are seeking a full-time Financial Analyst. This is an exempt position. The individual will have the opportunity to work from our Clackamas or Vancouver office. The annual salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 (DOE) We offer many company benefits:

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position reports to the Assistant Controller of Finance and is responsible for accurately reporting financial information and creating automated processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive process improvement utilizing software tools like Power BI, UiPath, Salesforce, Excel, and other emerging technologies
  • Build interwoven automated processes that provide live actionable information for decision-makers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP system accuracy, resolving system errors promptly to reflect activity correctly
  • Engage across organizational lines to ensure adherence to company policies and initiatives, fostering a culture of compliance
  • Educate and support team members throughout the organization on relevant processes and tools
  • Manage and improve the A/R tracking system and enhance the speed and efficiency of collections
  • Support with internal and external audit processes
  • Serve as backup for Staff Accountant
  • Perform various General Accounting functions, Financial Reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley, Forecast Analysis, and Cost Accounting as needed
  • Back up other finance and accounting functions as needed

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst (required)
  • Solid foundation in Excel, Power BI, UiPath, and Epicor, or the willingness to learn with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to document with complete particulars, recording facts for future reference and support. Ability to organize and file documents for quick and easy retrieval.
