Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill multiple non-permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 2 positions in Vancouver, WA. These journey-level positions are members of the Work Zone Traffic Control Team (WZTCT) for Southwest Region. In this role, you will be responsible for set up and removal of all types of traffic control required for maintenance and emergency situations. This position assists other region wide crews in maintaining signs, durable pavement markings, and striping. This position may work with general maintenance operations on other roadway and roadside maintenance activities and assist with snow and ice control. The safety of the traveling public and fellow employees is a high priority and must be considered in every decision and activity.
