HP Inc. Home Customer Experience Analytics Manager in Vancouver, Washington

HP Standards, Partners, and Analytics (SPA) is keen to ensure that our core solutions for printing works simply and gets the job done for our customers. Ensuring the customer can quickly get to their content, make a few light edits or manipulations, and then achieve a physical copy of what you expected. Our core print services are used by millions and millions of customers all over the globe. This role build and advocate the data evidence and narrative to drive a better and more holistic experience for HP customers trying to get their jobs to be done around making things physical (documents, photos, etc.). as well digitizing content to act on. This work would start from moving HP from computers and printers to helping people get their task done.

In this capacity, HP needs somebody that will help articulate, build, and story tell the data for the use of our printer products. These analytics and insights will be the heartbeat and life blood of data-evidenced decision making. Working and coaching analysts to live into the ethos of data-evidenced decision making / story telling. Coaching the analytics team to data-driven / evidenced focus to inform our customer experience and where there is opportunity and challenge. Championing an ethos of clear storytelling that is grounded in the data and championing the customer experience. This role will work extremely closely with R&D, Q&A, Experience Managers, and Design to get the job done. As we continue to refine the solution in the field, this role will also be to articulate a notion of activation and retention to aid the experience in driving engagement with customers. Talents in both strategic and tactical work, comfort in both articulating strategy and diving into the data our solutions and result in tactical adjustments along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and serve the team of analysts to drive clear analysis and insights on driving simpler experiences.

  • Champion an ethos and culture of Lean Development - Hypothesis driven validation learning, Agile cycles of tangible evidential delivery, learn in market through minimum viable products through our data.

  • Lead the team to drive and act on data evidenced partnership. Ensure work is grounded in data evidence and that has mutual understanding between HP and partners.

  • Enable and empower the team to drive significant independent judgement to formalize key performance indicators associated with hypothesis and business plans with partners then story tell and influence the org with data evidenced.

  • Knowledge of understanding unit economics strategies and tactics such as cost of customer acquisition (COCA) and lifetime value (LTV) and how that creates value for our installed base.

  • Influence internal groups to enhance solutions capabilities with new partner solutions and services.

  • Regularly meet with customers or partners during the innovation process.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business or Marketing or Data Science / Statistics.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of work experience in data science teams closely associated with product teams.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Mastery of data analytics - preparation, cleaning, analysis, insights, and storytelling that will lead the conversation of continuous improvement.

  • A desire to serve the team in helping grow, increase skills, mentor, and champion individual contributors for them to grow into the best version of themselves ... however that looks.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $137,000 -- $200,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
