Serving the Civil, Hydro, Oil & Gas, and custom fabrication industries. We are an AISC, API, ASME, and WABO certified facility. This position is available for swing shift: 3:00PM-1:30AM Mon-Thur, with optional overtime opportunities.
Competitive wages start ranging between $28.62 and $35.45 an hour. This includes a swing shift differential of $1.00 an hour.
All employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical.
This is a swing shift position, initially working on day shift for the first month or so to fully understand how this maintenance program works and the expectations of the position. Once on swing shift it is expected to communicate to the maintenance foreman what was done, what was used, and what else is needed. This is to make sure there is a productive shift changeover.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.
- Utilize the computer maintenance management system to document completed tasks.
- Prioritize safety and perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDCUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Have a good understanding of single and three phase power, and low voltage control circuits.
- Be able to follow directions as well as think on your feet to accomplish jobs and keep equipment operating with as little down time as possible.
- Have a good attitude and be able to work well with others to complete job tasks.
- Able to work from high elevations, there are many tasks that cannot be completed without using an arial work platform or working on structures with fall protection.
- Able to troubleshoot issues with; overhead cranes, gas/diesel/propane powered equipment, small tools, welding equipment, presses, rolls, and CNC metal processing equipment.
- The ability to lift 50lbs without straining.
