Clark College Part-time Program Assistant - Disability Support Services in Vancouver, Washington
Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time, permanent hourly Classified Program Assistant position to work approximately 17 hours a week. This position supports the Disability Support Services. This is a hybrid position with a work schedule of 90% in person and 10% working remotely. At Clark, we value equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are committed to growing, learning, and supporting our employees. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Edit alternate formatted textbooks/educational materials to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Proctor exams for students with testing accommodations.
- Work as a Sighted Aide in the classroom with a student with disabilities.
- Compose correspondence to staff and instructors as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
- High school diploma.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and specialized database systems, or comparable software.

- The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.
