Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Vancouver,, Washington

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, you will be working within the manufacturing industry, providing essential financial analysis and contributing to the financial planning and strategy of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.

• Manage and interpret data, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information.

• Utilize Excel to create pivot tables, v-lookups, sum/ifs, and macros for data analysis.

• Analyze raw data from various sources and present it in a comprehensible manner.

• Assist in product costing and cost accounting within the manufacturing context.

• Collaborate with other team members to cover workload during periods of leave.

• Contribute to the resolution of any financial discrepancies or issues.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions for delinquent payments.

• Liaise with customers to resolve credit inquiries and issues.

This role requires practical skills in Forecasting & Modeling and a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.

Requirements • Proficiency in financial forecasting and financial modeling

• Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst or similar role

• Strong knowledge of financial databases and software

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

• Solid understanding of financial set-ups, procedures, statistics and economics

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills

• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications

• Adept at conducting business studies on past, future and comparative performance and developing forecast models

• Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
