Amentum Space CounterSpace (SCS) Analyst in Vandenberg AFB, California

Responsibilities:
Conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space capabilities including, but not limited to, foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies
Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
Use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
In addition, work with engineers and scientists on foreign space capabilities
Requirements:
The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance is required
Desired Education: A Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the knowledge within the last two years
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply Intelligence Community (I.C.) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures
Demonstrated working knowledge of complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise. Structured analytic techniques include, but not limited to, analysis of competing hypotheses, high-impact/low-impact analysis, red team analysis, and alternative futures analysis
