Vermont Employer ESS Test Technician I FAA - 1st Shift in Vergennes, Vermont

Compensation:

  • \$3,500 Sign on Bonus*
  • Eligible for Annual Increases

1stShiftSchedule:

  • This position is for1stshift.
  • Wednesday - Saturday 7:00AM 5:30PM
  • Overtime available on a business need basis.

What YOU Will Do:

  • You will set up and perform ESS tests and record data.
  • You will monitor tests through completion, record test data, and service test equipment as required
  • You will follow blueprints, guidelines, and or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
  • You will demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools, mechanical measuring devices, and electronic and manual testequipment
  • You will accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions
  • You will perform proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds
  • You will work successfully in a teamenvironment
  • You will acquire applicable skill/knowledge certification as required
  • You will comply with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs
  • You will request tools and supplies in accordance with project requirements as needed
  • You will follow plans for production schedules and quality requirements
  • You will understand end use of manufactured products
  • You will understand and use computer tools such as SAP
  • You will demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule
  • You will achieve special process certification where applicable
  • You will train others for technical tasks as needed
  • You will demonstrate an active role in problem solving

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma or GED. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience required.
