What will you be doing?
Inspect facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks, develop and implement inspection policies, procedures and schedule of routine inspections, draft inspection reports to document findings.
Develop health and safety procedures, plan implement and conduct training for employees in work site safety practices.
Maintain safety files, OSHA logs, MSDS library, environmental reports, and permits as well as records of discharge of, or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
Manage forklift program, certifies employees, license record keeping.
What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree in EHS, OSH, or related.
Minimum 5 years experience with EHS in a food manufacturing environment.
Bilingual in English/Spanish
Extensive knowledge of Safety Work Experience, OSHA, and CalOSHA regulations, EPA regulations, and Cal ARP, RMP, and PSM (Ammonia program), 5 years min.
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification preferred.
