Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Accountant to be located in San Bernardino, California. This role involves a wide range of accounting tasks, from preparing financial analyses and reports, to maintaining balance sheets and general ledger accounts. The Sr. Accountant will be a key player in our accounting team, contributing to the development of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial analyses and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.

• Manage costs effectively and efficiently.

• Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries.

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy of financial data.

• Assist with annual audit preparations, including the resolution of audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

• Organize and update financial records, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and accurate.

• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance.

• Collaborate with teammates and provide coaching when necessary.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Extensive experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel for financial operations and reporting.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Dynamics Ax, and Dynamics GP software.

• Demonstrated ability in Cost Management.

• Proficient in General Ledger System operations.

• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting and Audited Financial Statements preparation.

• Strong skills in Financial Reporting and Internal Financial Reporting.

• The candidate must have the legal right to work in the job location without sponsorship.

• Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Professional accounting certification such as CPA is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
