News Corp Australia Agency Business Development Manager in VIC, Australia
What’s the role?
As a Business Development Manager - Agency you will generate new business revenue for News Corp Australia by engaging with new, and lapsed advertising agency clients on phone, email, campaigns and face-to-face, by proactively introducing opportunities to the agency and reactively responding to briefs for their clients and meeting the needs of those clients through campaign media solutions to achieve revenue targets and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and target potential Advertising Agency clients, build and nurture strong relationships and effectively communicate the value proposition of our advertising solutions
Deliver persuasive sales presentations, conduct virtual/F2F meetings and negotiations with potential clients, and close deals to achieve sales targets
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and advertising platforms to identify new business opportunities
Continuously expand your knowledge of digital products to explore new advertising opportunities and drive growth for Advertising Agencies clients
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, including product, marketing, creative and operations to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns and exceed client expectations
Track sales performance, monitor market trends and provide regular reports to management on revenue projections, pipeline and key performance indicators
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Who are you?
Experience servicing and working with Advertising agencies that provide a practical understanding of their motivations, methods of work and expectations
Proven outbound sales experience meeting/exceeding sales targets
Experience in providing sales based solutions in either face to face or virtual sales team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
Experience working in Media/Advertising sales (desirable)
Experience working in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Resilient, determined, tenacious, positive mindset is a must
Effectively collaborated with individuals from diverse backgrounds and foster an inclusive and respectful work environment
