Preparation & processing of assigned weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for over 1,000 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Communication amongst various Businesses within their HR & Finance Departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data. Promptly responds to inquiries from the outside offices.
Input and maintain employee information including new hires, terminations, address changes, employment changes, and benefits.
Complete employee data integrations from one or more systems (i.e. Workday, Chrome River, etc.)
Input and maintain payroll changes including 401K elections, direct deposits, garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, stock payments, and payroll adjustments.
Set up state filings and identification numbers for newly added states resulting from implementation of workforce plan
Ability to process manual checks, reversals, stop payments, relocations, and grossed up calculations.
Conduct audits of data changes and requests to ensure compliancy with company policy and practices.
Audit payroll time files for compliance and successfully upload time file into ADP.
Ability to track vacation and sick time accruals according to state labor laws and company policy.
Knowledge of multi-state taxation & follows all Federal and State payroll laws.
Full understanding of and using payroll codes and transactions in ADP.
Ability to run pre payroll reports in ADP and reconcile all payroll data prior to transmission to ADP.
Create and run custom reporting in ADP for various projects.
Understanding of IRS guidelines for Pre and Post tax deductions.
Understanding of IRS compliance and limitations in regard to 401K, ACA, HSA, FSA, and FICA.
Self Starter and is able to accomplish expected tasks with minimal supervision; Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.
Possess a thorough understanding of confidentiality and non-disclosure set forth by HIPPA.
Intermediate to advance computer skills in regards to Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Intermediate level of HRIS systems especially in ADP & ADP Workforce Now.
