About the role:
Opportunities exist for a BESS Site Quality Manager Electrical Engineer based in our based in our Melbourne Bureau Veritas office. Experience working on utility-scale Renewable Energy projects (greater than 30MW) to support our clients through the transition to lower carbon and renewable energy sources, including Onshore Wind, PV Solar, and Energy Storage.
This role requires a person with the following experiences:
Experience in Owners' and/or Lenders' Engineering on Renewable Energy Projects
Experience in utility-scale (above 30 MW) solar and battery projects (MUST)
Experience in HV Engineering is considered favorably
Knowledge in solar and battery storage systems
Knowledge in generator connection standards, GPS
Experience in performing the design reviews for Solar and, BESS projects
Experience in working with EPC, Utility and/or consultancy environments (Preferred)
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Postgraduate experience in Electrical or Renewable Engineering is an added advantage
RPEQ, CPEng, NER preferred
