We are looking to fill this position in Canada. We thank everyone for their consideration however, we are unable to accept candidates from Quebec at this time.

We support our customers through standardization and ease of processes, administrative excellence in the organization of information and events, and being poised and ready to take on new challenges to learn and continually grow.  

Life at SureSwift 

When we welcome you aboard we’ll introduce you to your team, which consists of the VP of People & Operations and COO, but you will also work closely and partner with the Corporate team and business leaders.   

 

As the Operations Coordinator, you will play a multi-faceted role with a focus on supporting our exceptional operators and corporate team. A lot of your success in the role will be based on your administrative excellence in the execution of day-to-day operations and supporting larger initiatives. Once you get settled in and learn more about the team, your daily activities as an Operations Coordinator will look something like this:  

  • Scheduling up to 20 meetings a month, something we lovingly call “calendar tetris” 

  • Updating Notion workspaces with new monthly content, and bi-annual content  

  • Administrative ownership of company wordpress wiki, review of content for updates, corresponding communications to ensure content is updated  

  • Coordination of our Excellent Operator Playbook creation, internal publishing, and communications 

  • Creating draft slide decks for various company meetings 

  • Supporting event planning; refining agendas, booking hotels, managing catering, drafting communications and communication hubs. May also support flight planning.  

  • Supporting planning cycles by drafting communications, booking meetings, keeping stakeholders accountable to timelines 

  • Supporting corporate functions to ensure operations run smoothly and continuously improve 

  • Embrace new learning opportunities with enthusiasm  

    Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • You are tech-savvy, you consider yourself a Notion wizard 

  • 2+ years of experience working in an operations or administrative role in SaaS or the technology industry 

  • Exceptional command of English language, written and verbal communication skills 

  • Detail oriented 

  • Approach work with a curious mindset and love to problem solve and add value 

  • Love being a Jack or Jill of all things, variety is the excitement of life! 

  • Proactive approach to communications 

  • Experience working with remote teams 

    • Bonus point for having exceptional Excel/Sheets skills 

    Your Compensation 

This role will be based in Canada. We are a remote-first company and also offer an office space located in downtown Victoria, BC, for those who are local and prefer to work in an office setting. The compensation range is CAD $50,000-65,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set.
