We are currently searching for a Sales Development Representative to join our team at Ghost Inspector. The successful candidate will leverage their unique skills and strengths to directly impact revenue growth. We are looking to fill this role in our Canadian market. 

About our Product 

Ghost Inspector provides a single, easy-to-use product for testing websites and web applications using browser automation. Our product and service ensures that our clients’ websites are always working as expected and alerts them when something breaks. 

Your Daily Challenges 

When we welcome you aboard we’ll introduce you to your team, which consists of the General Manager, Developers, Marketing and Customer Success. These are the people you’ll work closely with day-to-day.  

Once you get settled in and learn more about the team, your day to day activities will look something like this: 

  • Source leads through our tools and systems, testing different industries and regions  

  • Make outbound calls, emails and/or LinkedIn messages etc to prospects - filling your sales pipeline 

  • Schedule and conduct product demos, with your own leads and existing MQLs  

  • Follow-up via email, phone, LinkedIn (or other mediums) 

  • Update Hubspot CRM system to track your progress on all leads and opportunities 

  • Work with legal/finance on any special agreements that need to be reviewed and signed 

  • Create trials, proposals and close opportunities  

  • Manage contract signing process 

  • Support a seamless onboarding experience for new customers and create a positive experience handling the customer over to the Customer Success Manager 

  • Suggest solutions, share insights on your market and generally contribute to developing sales best practice, with the rest of the Ghost Inspector team 

  • Continuously learn about our products, industry trends, and competitors to effectively position Ghost Inspector’s solutions. 

  • Assist our Customer Success Team in providing Level 1 support to our existing customers to better familiarize yourself with our product 

    Your Experience and Qualifications 

  • You have 2-4 years of experience selling SaaS solutions in Canada  

  • Previous experience selling Technology / SaaS (software-as-a-service) highly desirable 

  • Available to work during traditional working hours of PST or EST 

  • You prospect for NEW business every day 

  • You have used Hubspot CRM or similar CRM on a daily basis 

  • You have carried monthly (or quarterly) targets throughout your sales career 

  • You have worked in a “high hustle” environment that requires a lot of proactive outreach to achieve as many “touches” as possible each day 

  • You thrive on challenges, seize opportunities and are able to change focus if necessary 

  • You’re naturally curious and enjoy learning about other businesses and their processes, understanding their needs and priorities, in order to understand the business impact of our solutions 

  • You use data to set clear goals and make informed, calculated decisions to drive meaningful and measurable results 

  • You’re an excellent communicator, proactively share information, and have good time management skills 

  • You’re a team player, self-starter, and excited about making a direct impact on increasing our user base 

  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial/startup environment 

  • Experience working independently and with remote teams 

    Your Compensation 

This role will be based in Canada. We are a remote-first company and also offer an office space located in downtown Victoria, BC, for those who are local and prefer to work in an office setting. The compensation range is CAD $68,000-$80,000 OTE ($60,000 - $75,000 base salary). Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set.
