Title and Summary

Specialist Product Management (12 month Maternity Leave cover)

Are you looking for a thrilling start in a highly dynamic big tech company? We offer you great development opportunities by helping to shape our product and market entry strategies for the Austrian market. The focus of the role will be on solutions in the area of commercial payments. You will work as part of a strong local team, in close, interdisciplinary exchange with account managers, consultants and international product experts, among others, and be in direct exchange with experts from Austrian banks. …

Role:

-Develop product strategies and roadmaps to ensure maximum penetration of market segments - the focus lies on Commercial Card propositions for card issuers and the SME segment.

-Manage and maintains existing product lines on an on-going basis, including partner management.

-Conduct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts with account managers and be their first contact for product related queries.

-Provide design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development in the commercial card space.

-Manage performance tracking and segment planning with DWH tools.

-Further, several special projects will be assigned.

Major Accountabilities:

• Solicit input from customer teams, customers and third parties regarding development of new solutions and possible enhancements of product offerings

• Compile market research and support opportunity assessments on new concepts and ideas

• Development of business cases and requirements for new solutions

• Participate in bringing solutions to market

• Interface with customer relationship managers to test concepts and monitor issuer pilots

• Transition new products into maintenance mode

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience

Knowledge / Experience:

• A first relevant work experience, preferably in financial services

• Experience in product management, product development, and project management

Desirable Skills/ Abilities:

• Fluent/Native in German is a must

• Solid English is a must

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills

• Ability to manage work on several projects concurrently

• Strong analytical skills. Detail oriented focus

• Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and MasterCard

• Self motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team work

Conditions:

• 12 month maternity replacement; possibly opportunity for extension
